Setting up a violin or viola is a careful, detailed process that directly affects how the instrument sounds, feels, and performs. Even the smallest adjustment can make a big difference—not only for professional players but also for students. A well-set-up instrument is easier to play, holds its tuning more reliably, and produces a warmer, more resonant tone.

Our Setup Process Includes:

• Fitting the pegs for smooth, stable tuning
• Shaping and fitting the bridge feet precisely to the body
• Adjusting bridge height so strings sit correctly on the fingerboard
• Checking and refining the nut for accurate string height
• Ensuring the bridge is positioned perfectly from the nut
• Adjusting the soundpost for optimal tone and response
